Statesmen Silence Cobras 3-0

The Statesmen host Parkland CC at Parker Field and got a 3-0 victory. The first 25 minutes of the first half was of dominance of the guys, they controlled the ball every time and created some chances to score. After that, the game got a balance and Parkland had some chances. But, in the end of the first half Miguel Sanches gave the lead to LTC. In the second half, the Statesmen managed the game well and scored when they had the chance. Guilherme Melchiori scored twice and made the game 3-0 for Lincoln Trail. It was the fifth clean sheet of the season out of eight games for LTC. Gonzalo Onrubia made six saves in the win. The Statesmen will now face Mineral Area on September 21 at Wabash Valley College.
