Pegg Commits to Minot State University

Lincoln Trail College Baseball announces that Oscar Pegg has committed to further his academic and athletic career at Minot State University. Pegg, known for his versatility and consistency both on the field and in the classroom, will bring his skills and dedication to the MSU baseball program.

Head Coach Collin Maynard expressed confidence in Pegg's readiness for the transition, stating, "I believe Oscar's time at LTC has prepared him very well for his time at Minot State University. He has consistently faced high-level pitching throughout his time here, which has prepared him to have success at the plate when he arrives at MSU this fall. Oscar has also shown the ability to attack the classroom as aggressively as he attacks baseball, which will only set him up for continued academic success as well."

Throughout the spring season, Pegg has been an invaluable asset to LTC, showcasing his versatility and offensive prowess. Coach Maynard highlighted Pegg's contributions, stating, "This spring, Oscar has been a vital part of our team. He has played every position on the field except for center field and right field. He has been a guy that has been able to bounce all around the field wherever we need him and perform at a high level. Offensively, Oscar has been a staple in our lineup. He has consistently produced with the bat and has come up big for us in clutch moments time and time again."

Coach Maynard expressed his pride in Pegg's commitment to MSU, emphasizing his hard work and dedication. "I am extremely proud of Oscar's commitment to Minot State University. He has worked extremely hard for this opportunity, and I expect him to have nothing but success in their program. I expect Oscar to make an immediate impact for MSU from day one. They are getting a player who can play virtually any position and will excel offensively."
